Using your own own SSL certificate for the Servers Alive webserver?

Servers Alive includes a webserver, by default this webserver uses a self-signed SSL certificate, you can however replace this by your own SSL certificate.

Create a certificate for the Servers Alive host (wildcard certificates are not supported), that is RSA 2048 certificate.
Copy the cert.pem and cert.key file over the existing self-sign certificate (On most systems you can find them under c:\Users\All Users\Woodstone\servers Alive\)

Restart Servers Alive and the updated certificate will be loaded. If the loading fails, we will replace the certificates by new self-signed certificates.

Customer praise

"We DON'T like our customers telling us that their server is down. [With Servers Alive] an SMS message on the mobile tells us exactly what is wrong, and it's fixed in minutes. Before, if a server went down Friday night we would find out from the customer on Monday morning!!!

You have a brilliant product. Keep up the good work."
